The Transit Control Card (TCT)

It is a mandatory requirement for entering the Galapagos Islands. Its purpose is to regulate the entry and stay of visitors to the archipelago.

Where can I do this?

At the Quito or Guayaquil airports, before checking in with your airline. Go to the Galapagos Government Council (CGREG) ticket window. Arrive at least one hour before the usual boarding time to complete this process, especially during peak season.

Cost:

National and international tourists: $20 USD

Children under 2: Free

(Cash or card accepted, subject to airport availability)

Entrance fees to the Galapagos National Park

You pay upon arrival at the airport of the islands (Baltra or San Cristóbal), directly at the counter of the Galapagos National Park.

  • National tourists: $30
  • Children under 12, people over 65, people with disabilities: $15
  • Foreign tourists: $200
  • Foreigners under 12 years old: $100
  • Foreign students in Ecuador: $50
  • Tourists from CAN countries (Bolivia, Colombia, Peru) or Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay): $100 adults / $50 children under 12 years old.
